Maharashtra is the second most populous state in the country. The Prime Minister has announced a policy to make India a human resource capital. In line with this policy, the Government of Maharashtra has decided to create a skilled manpower of around four crore and fifty lakh by the year 2022. For this, various schemes and activities have been undertaken.

As part of this scheme, the previous website http://www.maharojgar.gov.in (Maharojgar) of the Directorate of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship, State of Maharashtra has been updated and its integrated website http://www.mahaswayam.in (Mahaswayam) has been updated. Has been developed.
The Government of Maharashtra has provided online registration and educational qualification enhancement facility to the JOBSEEKER candidates seeking employment under the EMPLOYMENT tab on this website. Also job search facility has been provided. Skill training facility is provided under Entrepreneurship (ENTREPRNEURSHIP) tab and SKILL DEVELOPMENT tab.

Under the EMPLOYER tab, permanent / temporary vacancies, job fairs, online promotion of jobs under the Employment Promotion Program (EPP) have been facilitated. What is special is that all these employment related services are being provided free of cost. It is mandatory to submit the details of vacancies in private establishments and government offices to the Department of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship every three months.
The facility to fill up the quarterly return (ER-1) of employment in this regard has also been made available on the web portal http://www.mahaswayam.in. This will enable the entrepreneurs to meet their demand for manpower. Entrepreneurs who have not yet registered their establishments on this web portal, should register immediately and avail the required facilities.

An updated website http://www.mahaswayam.in (Mahaswayam) of the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department was recently launched by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Interested candidates and entrepreneurs should take advantage of this website to secure their employment, appealed the Assistant Director of this department.
